I thought they were the same person

I guess that is one of the problems with not having a TV. How does one tell all these folks apart?

Clarence without a Binkie

This one is from Montreal, although there is not much in the frame to suggest that, other than the sweater, which is not needed here.

Clarence with a Binkie

This picture is actually from a little while ago. Clarence hasn't had many opportunities to crawl around on the grass, it was not long ago that the blades were too scratchy for him. As you can see (if you look close), he is now taking his revenge by uprooting as much as he can manage.

Graffiti

Some cool graffiti here in Montreal. I really like the angry birds, and the zombie worms are a nice touch. This one was pretty big, I maybe should have taken out the wide angle.

small car

Walking back from the Art Museum along Sherbrooke I saw this small vehicle. It is definitely not representative of the typical Montreal vehicle. In fact, while Montreal has a lot of European characteristics, the cars are generally of American size.

Montreal Cathedral

Arrived from Phoenix in Montreal Sunday night, did some touring yesterday. Visited the Cathedral, as you can see. I did not acquire the video on sale in the gift shop. It was very moving, with Celine Dion's wedding, Pierre Trudeau's funeral, and Pope JP II's visit. A little girl with her eyes filled with tears kisses him on the head, and then he wipes away her tears. Somehow I can't imagine Pope Benedict having the same effect.

Apparently the American Protestant Architect who built the Cathedral was so moved by the experience that he converted to Catholicism. It did not have quite that powerful an effect on me.

Update: In case it was not clear, the wedding, funeral, and papal visit were in the video, and not all during my visit. Thanks for asking though!
