I took a lot of pictures of this sort of thing in Europe. Occasionally I would get odd looks as I kneeled down to get the shots. Sometimes I think this is my favorite picture. After all it is French, it is rusty, and it is old.
I have been using this one as my desktop backdrop for some time now. I think I took it in Shanghai, almost a year ago. Possibly it was in the Yu gardens.
I rarely go very far out of my way to take a picture, but I had to stop the car to get this picture. This is on the Western edge of Albuquerque, we were on the way to Mt. Taylor (see last post).
